One Act, 43 pages

Paul "Bear" Bryant was more than a legend of Alabama football. He was the pure embodiment of the sport, and in many ways, of the school itself. The number of lives he touched and changed is incredible. When he had been coaching college for a few years, and had met with some success at Kentucky and Texas A&M, his alma mater, Alabama, called and offered him the head coaching job. Bear always said that it was like "Mama called him home." Called proceeds in a series of vignettes from his earliest days to near th eend of his life, as Bryant recalls the pivotal moments in a life full of great successes, but also severe hardships. How he dealt with all these is an inspirational and moving story.
