Theatre is filled with very special people, people who can sing and dance, often at the same time! They are a different people, a multi-talented people, a people who need people... and who are, in many ways, the luckiest people in the world.

Introduction

This is a place to find people who do things theatrical. Yes, we hold auditions to find actors, we know people who design sets, who work back stage, play instruments, etc. But sometimes we can't find all the people needed in a production by our tried and true mechanisms. So this forum exists as a sort of clearinghouse/meeting place. If you're an actor, leave your headshot and resume. If you do technical work, let people know about your achievements. Musicians, tell us what you play. Everybody should tell all the ways to get in contact with you.

And then when directors and producers need folks, come and look and refresh your memory about who does what, and how to get in touch with them.

In the list above, you'll find links to various categories of "theatre person", and there will be links there to sign up as an actor, director, etc. And please feel free to list yourself in as many functions as are applicable. We all do local theatre, which means we likely have played all the roles: on stage, back stage, above the stage, in the booth. Whatever necessity requires. And experience is experience, so let us know all the ways you can and will help in a theatrical production!

This is an experiment, folks. It will doubtless start off slow, and hopefully build to a viable "database". I will try and keep the info as up to date as possible, but of course that means that you should let me know when things change. If you decide to make the Big Move to NYC or LA, let us know you're no longer available. And when you email or phone changes, let us know.

Mayhap this will be useful, maybe it's superfluous. I'll really  appreciate any feedback that let's me know either way. And also in ways to improve the service. Because that's really what it is: a service to help smooth the path to ever more successful productions.
