Sing: Alto. I’m a GREAT chorus singer. Dance: Basic stage choreography. Preferred Roles: Here’s the easy way out: my 3 favorite roles of all time were June Sanders, (silly Appalachian comedian), Mercutio (overt Shakespearean comedian), and Claire in “Proof” (snarky, sarcastic, sneaky comedian). So…I prefer comedy! But my dream role is Jo in “Little Women” (not the musical; people would demand refunds). Other: Member of the Wings Award-winning ensemble for “Cell Block Tango” in “Hooray for Hollywood” (the Hungarian murderess). Play and teach flute, can play enough piano and guitar to get by. Big sister to the illustrious Katie Lynn Broad, who is studying at Circle In the Square on Broadway and a constant source of information about the art of acting. |

Other: Production Manager at The Arts Council, which involves organizing the Panoply Arts Festival and Concerts in the Park along with an arts camp and two annual fundraisers. Also Head Counselor of reMIX456 for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. In other words, loves organizing big events and making them as successful (in more ways than just finances) as possible. Loves working with children and people who are new to the stage. |
