Mister Milk
Mister Milk he’s not rightHe is wound up too tight
He’s programmed to react
And he doesn’t care about the facts
He won’t care what you do
He is not aware of you
He ignores all the signs
It’s not that he is so unkind
But somewhere he just lost his mind
Mister Milk, he’s so mad
He thinks he has been had
He is ripe for a fight
And he’ll never ever see the light
Mister Milk watches the news
What he hears are his views
He’s so scared and afraid
Of anyone who is not made like him
Of anyone who is not made
Oh, oh, oh, Mister Milk, your life is like silk
Oh, poor Mister Milk, everything slips on by
Oo, Oo, Oo, Mister Milk, have you had your fill
Of dead dreams you’ve spilled,
Waiting until you die
Always wondering why,
You’ve lived such a lie
Yeah, the truth just passes you by
There’s not much in his eyes
He’s not good at disguise
He might walk, he won’t run
And he never seems to have any fun
He tries hard to fit in
But won’t say where he’s been
What he’s done or with who
Heaven knows what he might do
You’d think he’d have a notion or two
Mister Milk, you must know
That you can’t remain so
Unaware of what’s real
You need to think before you feel
Mister Milk you must see
That you cannot be free
Till you let yourself go
And you’re ready to let ‘em all know
That you’ve really got something to show
Mister Milk, he’s so scared
What he’d do if he dared
But he won’t ‘cause he can’t
He’s stuck inside his head and he can’t
Mister Milk, he’s so scared
What he’d do if he dared
But he won’t not until
He is way up yonder over the hill
He wishes everything would just stand still
