Wallace Bruce was one of the principal founders of the Florida Chautauqua Assembly, an organization that served as the primary winter meeting place of the original Chautauqua. This play is performed regularly during the annual meeting of the Florida Chautauqua. It is presented on the front porch of Wallace's Dream Cottage, the house he built in DeFuniak Springs, where the Florida Chautauqua was founded. Wallace recounts his life and accomplishments, and his life as a man of letters and idealism.
