Starstruck!3 Men, 1 Woman, 2 Teen
Boys, 2 Teen Girls, 4 Boys, 2 Girls, Chorus Stella wants to be the star of the Christmas pageant, she wants it bad! Unfortunately she gets just what she wishes for: she is cast as the actual Star of Bethlehem, complete with blinking lights and all. When she is accidentally struck by a sandbag at dress rehearsal, she wakes up in heaven, and then there's the devil to pay. Your audiences will really love this one act Christmas musical, which premiered at Giles Heritage Theatre, Pulaski, Tennessee in December, 1993 (directed by Butch Sutton), and was also performed at the Princess Theatre in Decatur, Alabama in December, 1994 (directed by Carol Puckett). The simple sets and costuming make production straightforward, the songs and energy make it all come alive, and the lessons Stella learns make for a heart-warming play. |
