The Ill-Made Knight

15 Men, 7 Women, Chorus
2 acts, 92 pages
17 songs

The Camelot story, told from Lancelot's perspective. There is also the minor detail that the whole thing is set in Scotland. In the Dark Ages. The play opens as Lancelot goes mad, guilty over his illicit passion for Guenevere. Fleeing Arthur's court, he meets and falls quietly in love with Elaine. Torn between these two women, Lancelot must also satisfy his overwhelming need to make an everlasting name for himself. Only the Grail can free him. Joined by Merlin, the Fisher King, Galahad, and other knights, The Ill-Made Knight follows Lancelot to his destiny.
