Upcoming Gig: Obamroo 2008 at Lowe Mill (Flying Monkey Arts Center).

Sweet Slidshow! Take a look at some swell pix (courtesy of the extremely talented Jeff White) from our last outing at Berkeley Bob's Coffee House.

Also, view Jimmy Wells terrific slide show from last year's North Alabama Folk Festival.

New Music! Some new MP3s are available on the music page. "Up On Cripple Creek", a new rendition of "Summertime", a smoking "Give Me One Reason" and a made-up tune, "What's First?"

Bimini Road is an eclectic acoustic ensemble. The band formerly known as "Mister Charley" has reincarnated. Same core personnel (Chuck Puckett on guitar, Richard Eade on guitar/bass and Shelley Heard on mandolin), but we've extended it to be a family affair. Chuck's daughter Ruthie joins us on vocals, and Richard's son Daniel plays percussion. It's a new sound, more acoustic, but still as weird as ever. And playing some of the neatest music you'll ever take a listen to!

This is a group of people who have been carrying on a bizarre yet very satisfying musical conversation for many years now, and it just goes on and on...
