Puckett Publishing Software
So far, this only consists of Sibelius plugins.
Sibelius Plugins
Here are the Siblelius plugins that I've developed. These have only been tested on Sibelius 4.1 and later, and only on Windows XP. Please let me know of any problems you encounter using them: email Chuck Puckett.
Convert BarRest to Pickup
I wrote this because I hated manually taking an empty bar, convert it to
minims (half notes), then crotchets (quarter notes), then finally a typical
quaver (eighth note) pickup note. Bob Zawalich Split Bar Rest plugin (from which
this was initially derived) exists to make the whole measure into quavers
(for instance), but that's not what a pickup note is. Anyway, this plugin
converts selected bar rests (not individual rests!) into one or more pickup
notes of a specified duration. The user is presented with a dialog from which
she can select the duration, whether it is dotted or not, and the number of
pickup notes to create. If the number of pickup notes won't fit, the user is so
informed.
I suggest you put this in the Notes and Rests folder.

Convert BarRest To Quaver Pickup
A simpler version of Convert BarRest to Pickup, this one requires no user interaction: it creates a single quaver (eighth note) pickup in the selected bars. (You must have one or more bar rests selected!)
I also suggest this goes in the Notes and Rests folder.
